Assistant Minister for European Integration in the Government of Serbia, Miroslav Gacevic, indicated that Albin Kurti was once again trying to deceive the international community by making false interpretations, reacting to Kurti's statement in which he asked why Serbia did not allow minorities to form uni-national associations of municipalities, but it demanded something like that in Kosovo.

"Of course there are no such associations, simply because all our minorities are not genuinely threatened, and their rights are fully protected within the existing legal framework," Gacevic said on Twitter.

He pointed out that it was even more important that the idea of creating the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities was the result of continuous attacks and intimidation on Serbs and their properties.

"Furthermore, forming CSM is not Belgrade's caprice, it's your obligations stemming from the Brussels agreement signed under the auspices of EU," Gacevic wrote on Twitter, reacting to Kurti's post on the same social network.
