Brnabic with Edtstadler: Without the CSM, for which we have been waiting for 10 years, the dialogue loses its meaning
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, met today with the Federal Minister for the European Union and the Constitution of the Republic of Austria, Karoline Edtstadler, with whom she discussed the necessity of implementing the Brussels Agreement and the obligation to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.
As stated in the announcement of the Government of Serbia, Brnabic pointed out that "the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities had been waiting for 10 years, and without that, the continuation of the dialogue on the normalization of relations lost its meaning". She once again emphasized Belgrade's commitment to preserving peace and stability.
Brnabic also discussed with Edtstadler the European integration of Serbia and bilateral and economic cooperation.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Serbia appreciated Austria's commitment to the European integration process of Serbia and that she hoped for continued support for our country on that path.
"Serbia is firmly determined to continue the reform process, especially when it comes to the rule of law," the Prime Minister emphasized.
She added that Austria was the third largest foreign investor in Serbia and the fifth foreign trade partner in the exchange of services.
The interlocutors agreed that it was in mutual interest to continue improving and deepening cooperation in all areas.
