Brnabic with the Norwegian official: Compliance with the Brussels Agreement and the establishment of the CSM lead to normalization

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, spoke today with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Eivind Vad Petersson, and during the conversation, she highlighted the problems faced by the Serbs in Kosovo.

As stated in the announcement of the Government of Serbia, Brnabic had also emphasized that full compliance with the Brussels Agreement and the establishment of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities was the only way to continue and progress in the normalization process.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the partnership with the Kingdom of Norway and expressed gratitude for the close cooperation in the field of economy, European integration, and especially the energy sector.

She thanked for the expert assistance that Norway provided to Serbia after the two tragedies that occurred in our country at the beginning of May.

She reiterated that Serbia's membership in the EU remained a priority of Serbia's foreign policy, as well as a strategic commitment while expressing her gratitude to Norway for the support it provided to our country on that path.

As she stated, Norway assisted in the area of harmonization of standards and regulations with the Union in the area of the rule of law, state administration reforms, competitiveness, energy efficiency, environment, and climate change.

Eivind Vad Petersson concluded that Serbia had a stable partner in Norway, which would always be available for any kind of help and cooperation.
