Brnabic: Serbia sticks to the CSM, Kurti weakens his position every time he says "no"
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that Serbia's persistence in establishment of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities strengthens the position of our country, while Albin Kurti weakens the position of Pristina every time he says "no", reports RTV.
Commenting on Kurti's statement yesterday that the CSM will be formed, but only after reaching an agreement with Belgrade on mutual recognition, Brnabic reminds that the formation of the CSM is part of the Brussels Agreement from 2013.
"Aleksandar Vucic, with the Brussels Agreement, won the CSM with all the powers, and now you can see how smart this policy is in the long term," Brnabic said on TV Prva.
The Prime Minister stated that even those who are not allies of Serbia regarding the formation of the CSM and who are promoters of Kosovo's independence, state that the CSM must be formed first, and then everything else.
"CSM is what we cling to, and perseverance in its formation strengthens our position, and weakens Pristina's position every time Kurti says ‘no’," Brnabic said.
She said that both those who "love" Vucic and those who "don't like" him want him to continue leading Serbia as long as possible, adding that she hopes that will be the case.
"He said that he knows what his duty is and he will always give up his position before Kosovo and Metohija, which is not the case with any opposition politician whom we could hear the previous two days in the Parliament. The only important thing for them is to be in power," Brnabic said.
