Dacic: Kosovo’s note is a complete failure, Kurti is not aware of what is expected of him

The note that the Kosovo embassy in Brussels sent to all permanent representatives of EU member states, in which it complains about Miroslav Lajcak, is a complete failure, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told for Kosovo Online in New York.
"This is also an indication that Kurti is not aware of what is expected of him, but only is thinking how he will complete the process of independence, how Serbia will recognize Kosovo and how he will expel the Serbs from Kosovo. And that is the biggest problem - that it shows that his policy is one-sided, extremist and the main obstacle to peace and stability in the region," said Dacic.
He does not believe, he says, that the note will have any success because Serbia did not appoint Lajcak or Josep Borrell to their positions, but the EU did, with the consent of all member states.
"So that letter is a complete failure, especially if you take into account that everyone knows very well that the problem in the relations between Belgrade and Pristina is that Kurti refuses to implement something that both the EU and Belgrade and Pristina committed to 10 years ago. He also attacks Lajcak, who is advocating that the CSM be formed first, and then everything should be discussed. And that should have been done 10 years ago," Dacic reminded.
