Dacic reiterated to Flessenkemper Serbia's position on Kosovo's request for membership in the Council of Europe

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, had met today with the head of the Belgrade Office of Council of Europe, Tobias Flessenkemper, to whom he had reiterated Serbia's position regarding the inadmissibility of Kosovo's request for membership in the Council of Europe, according to the Ministry's statement.

Also, bearing in mind that in April 2023, Serbia marks 20 years since its admission to the Council of Europe, they had discussed the activities that would be organized on this occasion in Belgrade and Strasbourg.

Flessenkemper congratulated Dacic on his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and at the same time conveyed the greetings of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejcinovic-Buric.

The mutual expectation was expressed that the successful cooperation would continue.
