Dacic's Chief of Staff: Vela is nervous because the countries of Central Asia do not support Kosovo

The Chief of Staff of Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, Nikola Nedeljkovic, reacted to today's criticism of Blerim Vela regarding the official visits of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia to the countries of Central Asia, telling him that he was "obviously nervous, and for a reason".

On the occasion of Vela's accusations that Dacic was trying to prevent Kosovo's membership in international organizations by visiting Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, Nedeljkovic told Kosovo Online that "being the head of the cabinet in the state apparatus of something that is not a state, it certainly creates nervousness".

"Education has never been a strong point for the residents of Pristina, so, understandably, Vela did not learn that the countries visited by Minister Dacic neither recognize Kosovo nor have they ever voted in favor of Kosovo in international organizations," Nedeljkovic said.

He added that it made no sense to look back on Vela anymore, because "with his ignorance, he is undermining the agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas".

"Since the beginning of the year, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Hungary and Slovenia, Peter Szijjarto and Tanja Fajon, have visited these same countries. I hope that he does not think that their visits were for the same reason that he now reproaches Minister Dacic," Nedeljkovic said.
