The Election Panel for Appeals and Complaints (PZAP) has accepted the appeal of the Serb List against the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) not to certify their application for participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kosovo, reports Democracia.

According to this portal, the CEC has been ordered to certify the Serb List's request.

"The notification of the Central Election Commission dated December 23, 2024, is dismissed. The Central Election Commission is ordered to certify the political entity Serb List and the candidates of this political entity, in accordance with the recommendation of the Office for Registration, Certification, and Financial Control of Political Entities for the elections to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo scheduled for February 9, 2025," states the decision of PZAP published by Democracia.

On Monday, the Central Election Commission did not certify the Serb List, after two members of the CEC from the ruling party Self-Determination voted against it.

The president of that party, Zlatan Elek, said he would fight the CEC's decision using all democratic means.
