Djuric: Kurti wanted to humiliate Kosovo Serbs with an undemocratic game

The Serbian Ambassador to the USA, Marko Djuric, assessed that Albin Kurti wanted to humiliate the Kosovo Serbs by appointing Nenad Rasic to the position of Minister for Communities and Return.

"Today we witnessed yet another escalatory and destabilizing step by the government of Mr. Albin Kurti. Appointment of Nenad Rasic to the position of the Minister for Communities and Returns in order to humiliate Kosovo Serbs ticks all the boxes for being a part of an undemocratic, backward-looking and ultimately anti-Albanian game, and an absolute disobedience of the rule of law. Not to mention that it is against the Serbian, broader Albanian, American, and European interests as well.” Djuric wrote on Twitter.

He wished Kurti luck in "replicating the failed policies of the region from three decades ago."

"In our case, it got us having you as a counter-party. Who knows where yours might get you? I can't wait to see it," Djuric wrote.
