Djuric: Kurti wants another conflict in Europe; If not prevented - he will succeed
Serbian Ambassador to the US Marko Djuric said that Albin Kurti was actively working to ignite another conflict in Europe, stating that we are at a point where the failure of the US, the EU and NATO to stop him from what he is doing means that he is being allowed to succeed.
Djuric wrote on Twitter that Kurti tirelessly continues his campaign against the concept of a multi-ethnic Kosovo, and in doing so, he is actively working to inflame another conflict in Europe.
"In the past 24 hours, another two Serbs were arrested under spurious charges by Kurti's special police - illegally present in the north of Kosovo* - in blatant violation of Article 9 of the Brussels Agreement. The same Kurti thugs in the uniforms of the so-called "Kosovo police" this afternoon beat a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, who both suffered minor injuries and great emotional trauma. This evening, Kurti squadrons are again patrolling North Mitrovica in armored vehicles, hunting for yet more victims," Djuric said.
He noted that it was obvious to anyone who was not completely biased that Kurti wanted a Kosovo without Serbs, and that he was practically public about it - labeling all those who opposed him as criminals and terrorists.
"Very important - Kurti also wants a permanent wedge between Serbia and the USA, the EU and NATO. Make no mistake, we are at the point where failing to stop him from continuing to do what he is doing is allowing him to succeed. This will not only mean defeat for his victims on the ground and bad news for Kosovo* and Serbia, but fat beyond," the Serbian ambassador emphasized.
