Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, speaking to Kosovo Online ahead of the start of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, said that he would strongly advocate the principle of territorial integrity and sovereignty, because in Serbia’s case this principle was trampled on in the past.

“Coming straight from Washington, I have arrived at the OSCE ministerial summit in Vienna, which is taking place at a moment that can be described as a turning point when it comes to European security. My message will be that we need more, not less OSCE,” he emphasized.

Djuric stressed that this important international organization must be preserved, so that in two or three years we do not find ourselves in a situation where we have to rebuild it from scratch.

“We have a mechanism that has existed for several decades and needs to be revitalized. Here we will strongly advocate the principle of territorial integrity and sovereignty, because in our case international law was once trampled on,” he underlined.

Djuric also emphasized that he will at the same time advocate cooperation and peace.

“Serbia is for peace in Ukraine and everywhere else,” he concluded.
