Elek with Szunyog and Szczygiel: The rights of the Serbs in Kosovo are violated daily and their survival is endangered
The President of the Serb List, Prof. Dr. Zlatan Elek, along with his associates, held separate meetings today with the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog, and the Director of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Office, Marek Szczygiel.
Representatives of the Serb List highlighted the institutional violence that is carried out daily against the Serbs in Kosovo during the meetings.
They also drew attention to the daily violation of the rights of the Serbs and the escalating moves by the authorities in Pristina that endanger the survival of the Serbs, as well as the direct consequences of the decision to abolish the dinar, which directly affects the entire Serbian population in Kosovo.
They called for urgent and concrete action by the international community to protect the rights of the Serbs, as well as the implementation of agreements envisaging the creation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and the establishment of conditions for the survival of the Serbs in their ancestral homes.
