Embassy of France on Popovic: We are closely monitoring the case; we call for a resumption of dialogue

Regarding the arrest and the 30-day detention order for Igor Popovic, Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Embassy of France in Kosovo has issued a statement.

In a written response to Kosovo Online, they stated that they are "closely monitoring the case."

“We are closely monitoring this case and expect it to be handled with full respect for the rule of law and legal procedures. We call for a resumption of the EU-facilitated dialogue and strongly urge all parties to refrain from any initiative that would not serve this goal,” the Embassy of France in Pristina said in its response.
