Former KIA Inspector: KFOR against the Kosovo Government, a spectacular victory for Serbia

Former Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA) Inspector Burim Ramadani responded following the Kosovo Police operation in the north, after which KFOR reinforced its presence on the main bridge over the Ibar River.

"KFOR against the Government, a spectacular victory for Serbia! Did anyone ever think that our state leadership, after 25 years of protection they've given us – and are still providing – would force KFOR to create guards and cordons with shields and rifles against the decisions of our Government," he wrote on Facebook.

According to him, this amounts to "voluntarily giving a gift to Serbia from Kosovo."

Yesterday's operation by the Kosovo Police in the north was criticized by the United States (US), the EU, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, which expressed concern over what they described as the "uncoordinated" actions of the Kosovo Government.

Washington stated that those actions reflected a "deterioration of relations between the US and Kosovo."
