In the village of Dobrotin near Lipljan, graffiti reading “UCK” (KLA) appeared on electric poles near the Knez Lazar Elementary School.

The graffiti were written on poles along the road leading to Slovinje, and many of them have since been painted over.

According to Dobrotin residents, who spoke to Kosovo Online reporters, the Kosovo Police asked locals to cover up the graffiti themselves.

However, the inscription “UCK” remains visible on two electric poles.

The President of the Provisional Authority of the Municipality of Lipljan, Milan Joksimovic, condemned the graffiti, stressing that such actions are directly aimed against the Serbian population in this village.

“These provocations are unacceptable, especially at a time when Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are facing numerous pressures and the security situation has long been unstable. The graffiti were written near an elementary school, which is even more concerning and makes us think that even our children bother them. I want to make it clear—they will not succeed in intimidating us,” Joksimovic stated.

He also called on KFOR to increase patrols and controls in areas with a majority Serbian population.
