The Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated that graffiti glorifying the KLA (UCK) appeared this morning in Gorazdevac, as a result of what it called "the inflammatory and anti-Serb policies of Pristina, led by Albin Kurti," and that the Kosovo Police clearly lack the will or determination to resolve these incidents.

“This morning in Gorazdevac, offensive and provocative graffiti appeared, celebrating the terrorist organization KLA, which has disturbed the residents of this Serbian enclave in Metohija, especially considering that many of our compatriots from this region suffered as a result of crimes committed by members of this organization,” the statement said.

It was further noted that this was not an isolated incident, as similar graffiti had appeared in several other locations in recent days, particularly at the entrance to the village.

Although these incidents were reported to the Kosovo Police, residents of Gorazdevac say they were not addressed with due attention.

“It is noticeable that provocations in this Serbian village have intensified since the removal of the Serbian flag from the memorial complex for victims at the beginning of January this year. In recent days, such incidents have become more frequent, but none of them have been resolved, nor have the perpetrators been caught and properly sanctioned. It is especially telling that the so-called Kosovo Police in Gorazdevac have surveillance cameras installed, yet there is evidently no will or determination to shed light on these incidents,” the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated.

They added that it has been repeatedly proven that attacks on Serbs and the provocations faced by the Serbian population are a consequence of “the inflammatory and anti-Serb policies of Pristina, led by Albin Kurti.”

“The aim of such incidents is to unsettle the Serbs and force them to leave their homes. For this reason, Serbs living in enclaves, being the most vulnerable category of the population, are especially targeted. However, they remain determined to stay and endure despite all challenges and provocations,” the statement concluded.
