Grenell to Chollet: Did you tell Osmani that elections need to be announced; what about the CSM?

Former US President Donald Trump's former Envoy for Kosovo-Serbia negotiations, Richard Grenell, asked the Special Adviser at the State Department, Derek Chollet, whether during the meeting with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani in New York, he had told Osmani that elections needed to be announced in the north and what about the request to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.

"Did you tell her that elections need to be announced? How about demanding the creation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities? Your words are blah, blah, blah," Grenell wrote on the "X" social network.

He reminded that these topics had been discussed for a year and that it had been requested on June 3.

"You've been saying this for a year. You demanded this on June 3. They're ignoring you," Grenell said.

Previously, Chollet stated on the social network "X" that during the conversation with Osmani, he had emphasized the need for de-escalation of tensions, "urgent inclusion in the EU-mediated dialogue for the normalization of relations with Serbia", which, as he stated, was key to regional stability and European integration.
