Grenell to Lajcak: Dire situation in Kosovo has unfolded because of your political solutions

Former Special Envoy of the US President for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, responded to the statement of the EU Special Envoy, Miroslav Lajcak, that an urgent political solution was needed for the situation in Kosovo, and he emphasized that the escalation had been caused precisely by the policies pursued concerning this issue over the past three years.

In a Twitter post, he stated that the previous solutions for Kosovo had obviously been ineffective.

"The current dire situation has unfolded because of your 'political solutions' over the last 3 years," Grenell wrote in response to Lajcak's statement, in which he called for an end to violence and the pursuit of a political solution to the crisis in northern Kosovo.
