Guillon: Catastrophic situation for the Serbian people in Kosovo

The Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Government of Serbia, Arno Guillon, reminded the new European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, on the social network "X" about the violation of the basic human rights of the Serbian population in that area.

Guillon wrote to Terras several important facts about the catastrophic situation in Kosovo, emphasizing that this is not Serbian propaganda, as extremists in Pristina will surely present it to him, but that it is part of the official, recently published UNMIK report on Kosovo.

He recalled the most important points of that report, including severe forms of discrimination and ethnically motivated attacks, institutional violence, systematic violation of basic human rights in education, healthcare, administration, judiciary, religious issues and other areas vital for the survival of the Serbian people in the territory of Kosovo.

Riho Terras is an Estonian MEP who was appointed today as the rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament. He replaces German MEP Viola von Cramon, who has held the position since 2019.
