The Hague: KLA flag on the Serbian Embassy and ethnically based insults to employees

During today’s protest by KLA supporters in The Hague, several individuals placed a KLA flag on the entrance doors of the Serbian Embassy in that city and hurled ethnically based insults at the employees.

As the Embassy told Kosovo Online, the incident occurred around 4 p.m., when a car parked in front of the building and several unidentified persons got out, placed the KLA flag, and then left.

Embassy representatives informed the diplomatic police about the incident, who took statements from the employees as well as the car’s license plate number. They emphasized that an investigation will be launched and police presence near the Embassy will be increased.

The Embassy further noted that today, the streets of The Hague saw several hundred people and cars displaying Albanian and KLA flags, and as they passed by the Embassy building, they shouted various insults.
