Haradinaj: It smells like elections, ABK is ready to cooperate with the opposition to replace Kurti

The president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (ABK), Ramush Haradinaj, said that everything happening in Kosovo "smells like elections", stating that ABK was ready for elections and for cooperation with other opposition parties to help replace the government of Albin Kurti.

"Political parties are already ready for the elections. They are trying to position themselves in the minds of citizens as an option in different ways. If we are talking about ABK, we have never been upset about these polls or ordered results. This time we are not upset because we know the situation in Kosovo and the trust of the citizens in every segment of society. As you know, the elections should be held no later than January 2025, but they can be earlier, already in the spring. What is happening smells like elections. Everyone is getting ready, and we are in the campaign, but we don't need to to spend tens of thousands of Euros for some polls like Kurti did," said Haradinaj in an interview with Kosova Press.

He repeated his criticism of Albin Kurti for accepting the draft of the CSM statute, which, he says, will cause great damage to Kosovo.

Instead of the Community being created as a counterpart to mutual recognition or membership of Kosovo in NATO, it is being formed in exchange for the recognition of license plates, Haradinaj stated.

That is why he repeats the question - who does Kurti serve, because, says Haradinaj, only Serbia benefits from his wrong actions.

He criticized President Vjosa Osmani and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca for their political subservience to Kurti.

Commenting on recent warnings about "serial attacks from Serbia", Haradinaj says that the security situation requires caution, but not with amateurs, as he calls Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti and Interior Minister Xheljal Svecla.

He states that Serbia cannot avoid responsibility for the attack in Banjska, but points out that Kosovo did not benefit from that "international momentum", because it is still under the sanctions of the European Union.​
