Hasani: The Franco-German proposal will not solve the problems between Kosovo and Serbia

The former President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Enver Hasani, said that the Franco-German proposal was a document that envisaged the management of the crisis between Kosovo and Serbia so that the situation would not escalate into violence, Ekonomia online reports.

He emphasized that this proposal wouldn’t solve the Kosovo-Serbia situation adding that the problems would continue even if it was accepted.

"It is a legal document that transforms the Kosovo and Serbia relationship and crisis management is prevailing in it. It is about crisis management. As the text says so, without any dilemma after some period we will face the same problem," he pointed out.

Hasani added that the Kosovo Government should come up with its proposals for the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (CSM).

"If the CSM will have executive powers, then they will be in contradiction with the Constitution of Kosovo," Hasani underlined.
