Hasani: Xhavit Haliti could be a unifying presidential figure

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Nait Hasani stated that Kosovo needs a unifying figure for the position of president, adding that this could be Xhavit Haliti, a member of the same party.

According to him, Haliti could also secure votes from the Self-Determination Movement.

“I believe that among those who can step forward and serve as a unifying figure is Xhavit Haliti. I believe he can also gain the support of Self-Determination, as he has served as Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, has been a member of parliament, has no complications with other political entities, and I see him as a figure who has been engaged in politics for many years,” Hasani said.

He also noted that this was his personal proposal, not the official position of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Klan Kosova reports.
