Hoti: Resolution of the political crisis in Kosovo lies with the Constitutional Court, foreign actors will not intervene

Professor of International Relations Afrim Hoti stated that he does not expect the institutional crisis in Kosovo to be resolved with the mediation of the international community, and that the political parties, both from the ruling coalition and the opposition, will reach a solution after the Constitutional Court issues its opinion.
When asked whether it is likely that the political crisis could be resolved with the help of the international community, Hoti expressed skepticism.
"I don’t think so. The only thing that can help at this point is the opinion that will be issued by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. Once we receive such a ruling, I am convinced that both sides, government and opposition, will understand the situation and begin to consider the reality," Hoti told Kosovo Online.
Asked whether such a request has already been submitted to the Constitutional Court, Hoti said he is confident that it has and that everyone is now awaiting a response.
"I believe there is a request before the court, and that the parties are now waiting for a decision," Hoti clarified.
