Hovenier: We do not support either "Greater Albania" or "Greater Serbia"

Speaking about the recent visit of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to North Macedonia, the United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, emphasized that the US did not support either "Greater Albania" or "Greater Serbia", Gazeta Express reports.

Hovenier stated that he had seen concerns regarding the idea of "Greater Albania," especially after Kurti's visit to North Macedonia, where that project had been promoted at events in Tetovo and Skopje, with flags and symbols.

"The United States of America does not support 'Greater Albania' or 'Greater Serbia,' nor do we endorse redrawing state borders in the Balkan region. Any attempt to do so would be counterproductive and destabilizing. The US strongly supports the territorial integrity of all Western Balkan countries, including Kosovo," Hovenier said.
