Hoxha: There will probably be no recognition; we missed the chance for a more serious process
Kosovo analyst Dibran Hoxha estimated that the agreement (between Kosovo and Serbia) would probably not include mutual recognition and that Kosovo missed the chance to enter a more serious process that would have guaranteed a final agreement and recognition, Ekonomia Online reported.
At this moment, as he said, it is not known what is happening in the dialogue.
"We still remain in that secondary, speculative level, where we cannot see what is in front of us, we have no information about what is happening in the dialogue, and we cannot even guess. That is what concerns us. There probably won't be any recognition. The second point of the Franco-German plan should not be sold to us as a 'de facto' and 'de jure' recognition because there are ways to confirm the recognition," Hoxha said on RTV Dukagjini.
He emphasized that "storm and dust" had arisen and stated that there was backsliding in opinions.
"The initial positions after the dialogue led to the situation that the current agreement is not a final one. I expect that some tactics will lead us to speed up the final agreement", Hoxha said.
