The President of the Municipality of Strpce, Dalibor Jevtic, announced that dozens of Serbian employees of the Municipality of Strpce, which operates within the system of the Republic of Serbia, have received summonses to report to the Kosovo Police’s Department for Serious Crimes in Pristina as suspects. He described this as a method of institutional violence being carried out against Serbs by the outgoing regime in Pristina.

On Facebook, he explained that the case pertains to alleged undermining of Kosovo's constitutional order.

"In other words, this is a purely political process with a clear goal – advancing Albin Kurti’s ethno-nationalist policies. He simply cannot accept the defeat he suffered in the elections at the hands of the Serbian people, who, despite all the pressure and repression from Kurti, voted for the Serb List," Jevtic wrote.

He added that they have no expectations from Albin Kurti and that he understands his "nervousness" and actions. He took this opportunity to once again call on representatives of the international community to intervene and put an end to what he described as the harmful actions of the regime in Pristina.

"We urge our fellow citizens to remain calm and to know that they are not alone in this fight against repression and institutional violence carried out by Kurti. None of those who have received these summonses are criminals, they are honest people who simply want to live on their land and lead normal, dignified lives. The era of Albin Kurti’s politics of violence and repression will pass, peace and coexistence will come, because in the end, justice always prevails," Jevtic stated.
