KFOR commander and Admiral Wikoff visit northern Kosovo

Admiral George M. Wikoff, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples, and KFOR Commander Major General Roberto Vergori visited northern Kosovo today, KFOR announced.

According to a post on Facebook, Wikoff and Vergori accompanied KFOR personnel and Kosovo Police officers during a joint patrol along the administrative boundary line.

They also met with Zubin Potok Mayor Milos Perovic, with whom they discussed and assessed the local security situation.

“KFOR continues to regularly assess the situation on the ground, engage with all communities, and maintain operational readiness. It remains committed to carrying out its mission with professionalism and impartiality,” the statement said.

Vergori took command of KFOR yesterday.
