Krasniqi: Osmani is a puppet of Self-Determination Movement

University professor Milazim Krasniqi stated that Kosovo's President, Vjosa Osmani, is merely a puppet in the hands of the Self-Determination Movement and does not fulfill her constitutional role, Ekonomia Online reports.

Krasniqi believes that Kosovo does not have a true president because, in his view, the president is a puppet of the ruling party.

"With the exclusion of the KSF from 'Defender 2023,' she should resign. Unfortunately, Kosovo does not have a real president; she is more of a puppet in the hands of the Self-Determination Movement and does not fulfill her constitutional role. The same applies to the current crisis, so we simply have a person in the president's office, but in reality, we do not have a president," Krasniqi said.

He adds that President Osmani will have to play a unifying and constitutional role.

"The president was supposed to play a unifying and constitutional role, but she does not because she blindly implements the prime minister's policies, and that is one of the reasons. I am afraid that the disappointment of the international community stems from the fact that there is no party with whom they can implement a certain policy in Kosovo," Krasniqi stated.
