Kurti appointed Nenad Rasic as the new Minister for Communities and Returns

The President of the Progressive Democratic Party, Nenad Rasic, was appointed today as the Minister for Communities and Returns in the Government of Kosovo, Medija Centar Caglavica reports.

The decision on the appointment was signed by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

The position of the Minister for Communities and Returns has been vacant for almost a month, since the former minister from the Serb List, Goran Rakic, resigned.

Rasic's list, Civic Initiative for Freedom, Justice, and Survival in the last parliamentary elections, according to the results published by the Central Election Commission, won 1,508 votes or 0.173 percent throughout Kosovo. In the same elections, the Serb List had 44,407 votes. The president of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, Rada Trajkovic, was also on Rasic's list in those elections.
