Kurti's party MP: Court's decision for Pantic's release an act of treason

The Self-Determination Movement indicated that releasing Dejan Pantic to house arrest was an act of treason, Koha reports.

"That act represents treason," the party spokesperson Arlind Manxhuka said.

Self-determination MP Dimal Basha asked how could Pantic be under house arrest, considering the charges against him.

"Dejan Pantic is accused of terrorism, and judge Mentor Bajraktari changes his detention to house arrest. Can someone tell me how could a normal judge conclude that a terrorist is safer at home than in prison?" Basha asked.

By the decision of the Basic Court in Pristina, on the proposal of the Specialist Prosecutor's Office, Pantic's detention was changed to house arrest today.
