The head of the parliamentary group of the Self-Determination Movement Mimoza Kusari-Lila stated that the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell showed a total bias in favor of Serbia at the last meeting because he was used to Kosovo giving in, Koha Ditore newspaper reported.

"Borrell showed that he is completely biased. He also showed racist and discriminatory language towards Kosovo with the trend of threats that were reflected in the EU ambassador's decision for a formal vote on visa liberalization. Borrell’s statements show that he will maintain that position. The reason why he behaved so and the fact that he had such an approach was that he seemed to be used to it. I trust Prime Minister Kurti," Kusari-Lila said.

As Koha reminds, the agreement in Brussels was reached at the main negotiators' level, two days after the failure of the meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. However, Borrell’s letter again does not mention the deadline for reaching a final agreement.

Kusari-Lila said that reaching an agreement without mentioning a deadline for a final agreement was not a "surrender of Self-Determination." According to Kusari-Lila, the fact that there is no mention of a deadline in that agreement does not mean that the dialogue can be extended indefinitely.
