Lajcak: CSM formation primary prerequisite for European Plan implementation
EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said for RTS that the primary prerequisite for the implementation of the European plan was the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.
Lajcak stated that the European proposal talks about the normalization of relations and not about some capitulation. He repeated on several occasions that the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities must be formed and underlined that "if there is no CSM, there is no agreement."
According to him, the goal is not for someone to win or lose.
"The goal is to look for a win-win situation and to open European doors," Lajcak said.
He notes that the meeting in Ohrid aims to reach an accord on the fulfillment of the agreement that has so much support from the EU, which he says he does not recall seeing in the past.
Lajcak arrived in Belgrade yesterday and he will continue his talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic today. Lajcak also met with part of the opposition in Belgrade.
