Vucic: The CSM is a condition without which it is impossible to proceed; I will repeat that in Ohrid

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, repeated today that the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities was a condition without which there could be no further talks in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and added that he was going to Ohrid, where he would say the same.

In response to the journalist's statement that Albin Kurti would not form the CSM while the EU did not comment on it, and the US said that it had to be established, Vucic said that the CSM was not only a matter of Serbian insistence, but the topic of all discussions, and it had to be established because it had been agreed in Brussels.

"The CSM is a 'conditio sine qua non' for any talks. It is condition that cannot be done without - If you want - you will, if you don't - you won't. Just don't take up our time anymore," the President of Serbia said at the Vlasina Lake, which he visited as part of his tour of the Pcinja District.

He reminded that on Monday and Tuesday in Belgrade, he would host the EU Special Envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

"I don't know what anyone expects from Ohrid... I will go to Ohrid; I will never say that I can't talk. Why should we present ourselves as crazy and as someone who does not want to talk? I will say the same thing there as I am telling you here now, and what they also know. Someone just needs to explain to me the meaning of everything. Why did you invite me to the wedding party without a bride and a groom? It's something that makes everything meaningless," Vucic said.

He added that it bothered him and worried him that he saw that everyone was silent and no one would react to Pristina's statements, stating that the Serbs would probably be guilty of something again.

When asked about the 15 models for the CSM, which Lajcak said he had proposed to Pristina, Vucic said that he had not known what models Lajcak had been referring to, but that he was convinced that the European representative certainly knew what had been signed in Brussels in the four documents - in the basic agreement, principles, implementation agreement and decision on the management team.

"We have four decisions in Brussels, which have been adopted and signed. The Community of Serb-majority municipalities is the only thing that cannot be discussed because it has already been signed. Talk about everything you want, this is something that has been signed," Vucic underlined.
