Lunic: Kurti is investing in the election of the Democratic candidate in the US, knowing that Vucic has good relations with the Republicans

Nikola Lunic from the Council for Strategic Policies believes that Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti is investing in the election of the Democratic candidate in the US, knowing that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has already established very good relations with the Republican candidate.

"We know that the US is a key factor in Kosovo's sovereignty. Both Albin Kurti and the authorities before him have invested in such relations with the US. Similarly, Kurti is now investing in the election of the Democratic candidate, knowing that Vucic has already established very good relations with the Republican candidate," Lunic told Kosovo Online.

He reminds that in an interview with The New York Times, just before the NATO summit, Kurti clearly emphasized that they have a monoethnic society in Kosovo.

"This monoethnic society in Kosovo should seriously concern the American administration, regardless of which one it is. Why? Because America is committed to a transparent and multinational society in Kosovo, as well as to the Kosovo Armed Forces. Kurti is compromising that," Lunic emphasized.

He adds that it would be better for America and its interests to have a different administration in Pristina than Kurti.
