The representative of the Provisional Municipal Institution of Zvecan, Dragan Nedeljkovic, stated that the Serbs who were detained in Zvecan yesterday have not yet been released, adding that, according to KFOR's promises, all members of the Kosovo Special Forces should withdraw today by 3 p.m.
Nedeljkovic informed reporters that last night around 9:30 p.m., representatives of the Serb List had once again held talks with the KFOR commander, who had informed them that they had been waiting for paperwork in order to release the detained Serbs.
"According to the information I have, they have not been released yet. The issue is that KFOR immediately handed them over to the Albanians," Nedeljkovic said.
He added that the KFOR commander had announced that part of the special forces would withdraw from Zvecan during the night and that they would withdraw completely by 3 p.m. today.
"We came to wait; we are waiting for 3 p.m. for everyone to leave," Nedeljkovic stated.
