New York Mayor confirmed attendance at EXPO 2027 in Belgrade
New York Mayor Eric Adams confirmed in an interview with The Pavlovic Today that he will come to Belgrade for EXPO 2027, stating that he is extremely excited about it.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic extended an invitation to Mayor Adams to visit Belgrade for EXPO 2027.
Asked whether he will attend the international fair titled "Play for Humanity," Adams said, "Yes, I am going to EXPO 2027. I am looking forward to it. I am extremely excited about it."
Adams mentioned to The Pavlovic Today that this visit will be an opportunity to strengthen relations between New York and Serbia through joint initiatives in churches, youth organizations, and sports.
"This event represents an important step in building better international ties and cooperation," Adams added.
During the interview, Adams addressed Americans of Serbian descent as the first mayor ever to deeply engage with shared values and principles.
"They believe in faith, in family, in business. And most importantly to me, they believe in safety. They support the police department. And they know that public safety is a prerequisite for our prosperity. That those are the cornerstones of a great society. And when you look at the community, they clearly believe in these fundamental issues," he said.
