Veljko Odalovic, the President of the Serbian Government Commission for Missing Persons, states that the actions of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti are playing with fire, which could ignite a "fire" in the region, as reported by RTS.

Commenting on Kurti's visit to North Macedonia, conducted outside official protocols and accompanied by symbols of Greater Albania, Odalovic said on the Morning Program that those were matters that had to be sanctioned. It is unacceptable for such events to occur on the territory of a sovereign state without a reaction.

"The way Albin Kurti arrived, the reason he was there, and what he did there is dangerous play with a fire that can ignite in that area," Odalovic warned.

Odalovic points out that Kurti is also attempting to portray himself as the leader of Albanians in southern Serbia, in the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac.

"Europe is on vacation and silent. That does not suit us. It's a lull in which activities should be happening concerning northern Kosovo and Metohija, de-escalation, and preparations for elections, as agreed upon. But what we are hearing is not good. Because it's clear that such things must be condemned, as this is a dangerous situation, this is playing with fire," Odalovic evaluates.

Odalovic believes that Kurti counts on time to work in his favor, expecting that under the "institutional terror" that he is exerting, the Serbs will give up and slowly leave Kosovo.

"He wants to destroy and invalidate the Brussels Agreement, just as they don't acknowledge Resolution 1244. For us, international documents are sacred. We hope that Europe will wake up, that reason will prevail, and that they will start respecting what they themselves have brought," Odalovic concluded.
