This incident continues a series of attacks and looting of Serbian homes in areas south of the Ibar River, according to the statement from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

"While the hosts were celebrating in central Serbia, thieves broke in and ransacked the homes of Bozidar Vanic, as well as Ranko and Srdjan Milicevic, and the damage will be determined later," it is added.

In the past few days, Serbian households in the Istok municipality have been broken into twice, as well as a house in Plemetin.

"In recent years, almost no Serbian home has been spared from the extremists, and through looting, the existence and security of the Serbs are endangered, posing the greatest challenge our people in Kosovo and Metohija face," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasized.

According to them, representatives of the international community must be aware of this:

"Representatives of the international community must be aware of this and take decisive steps to protect and support the Serbs because there is no minimum will or determination within the political structures in Pristina to ensure the existence of the Serbs and to adequately punish the troublemakers. On the contrary, by their daily anti-Serb actions, they encourage attacks on Serbian property and the Serbs, making them legitimate targets, with the sole aim of driving the Serbs away from their centuries-old hearths," the statement concludes.
