The President of the Serbian Parliament, Vladimir Orlic, points out that Serbia will continue to discuss the European proposal because it does not want to work on getting it to what would be the ideal scenario desired by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

On Pink TV, Orlic reminded that the European proposal was supported by all EU members, including the five that do not recognize Kosovo.

"Of course we will talk, because Kurti will not lead us to what would be their ideal scenario – let's behave like in the 1990s so that Serbia is isolated and everything is imposed on it. That would be ideal for Kurti. Those who are working against Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic now are ready to work in favor of Kurti's scenario," Orlic emphasized.

When asked about the opposition's demands to schedule a new Parliament session on Kosovo, he said that the session was wanted by those who had asked for it the last time and, in two days, they had spent only two to three hours on it, and some even less.

"They just want a stage. The anti-state coalition wants that session. They do not care about Kosovo and the Serbian people, nor about Serbia. It is not a problem for them to cooperate with Kamberi, who does not hide that he is in constant communication with Kurti," Orlic said.

He noted that a Serbian president had never previously appeared in Parliament for a discussion on Kosovo, whereas Vucic had done so four times so far.

According to Orlic, now is a time of intense pressure on Serbia.

He points out that the turn of the international community regarding Kosovo was ensured by Vucic and that, thanks to him, there is no mutual recognition in the European proposal.

"It is a huge thing that mutual recognition is not sought. Vucic provided that turn. He also provided the request for the formation of the CSM, on which the international community is now insisting. Everything we managed to do to protect our interests was provided by a man who is being attacked by the people to whom Kurti is politically closest," Orlic said.
