Orlic: The generator of problems in Kosovo is exclusively Kurti; everyone understands that, but they will not admit it
The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Vladimir Orlic, said that everyone understood that the generator of the problems in Kosovo was exclusively Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but that not everyone wanted to admit it.
In an interview for Politika, Orlic pointed out that every meeting was an important opportunity for Serbia to familiarize the interlocutors with the situation in Kosovo, as well as for everyone to understand that the generator of problems in Kosovo was exclusively Kurti.
"Only some are reluctant to say it, and some claim the opposite out of mere interest, although everyone knows what the truth is. The latter is exactly the case with that letter from “parliamentarians'', Kurti's lobbyists, and proven liars, like Alicia Kearns. When you look at how they accuse the President of Serbia of being guilty because he won't recognize so-called Kosovo, because he protects the Serbs; because he protects Republika Srpska, and who knows what else, every honorable member of our nation would be sincerely proud if such people, for just such a “guilt'', publicly attacked him," Orlic said.
The Serbs, he points out, are even more proud of President Aleksandar Vucic after such attacks.
"Everyone was convinced that no amount of pressure, subterfuge and scheming, no lie and dirty campaign of which there were countless, none of it ever managed to sway President Vucic and force him to falter when it comes to protecting the interests of Serbia and our people. On the contrary, they have always represented only confirmation that we are on the right path since the worst people have to show openly how much it bothers them. It's just an additional incentive to continue on that path even more strongly," Orlic said.
He says that a free, sovereign, and independent Serbia, which takes care of its people and fights for its progress and future, knows and is allowed to express its views, is the most significant result of the policy led by the Serbian President.
"It is the basic goal of the dedicated work of all the people who implement that policy, in faithful service to the people and the state," Orlic said.
