OSCE in Kosovo on the deportation of Serbs: We learned about the decision from Svecla's social media post and the media

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo stated that it is closely monitoring the situation regarding the deportation of four Serbs from Kosovo and that they learned about the case through a social media post by Svecla, as well as through media reports.

"We learned about this decision from Svecla's post (the acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo) and from news articles. However, we lack further information and official details, so we cannot comment on the specifics of the case. We emphasize that in such situations, institutions must adhere to the rule of law and act in accordance with international law," the OSCE Mission in Kosovo stressed.

They added that "the Mission continues to closely monitor the situation."

As a reminder, four Serbs were deported from Kosovo and banned from entering Kosovo for the next five years. The individuals in question are Serbs employed by the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
