Milan Zlatanovic from Veliko Ropotovo deported from Kosovo at the Bela Zemlja crossing

Milan Zlatanovic from Veliko Ropotovo, who was arrested this morning at the Konculj border crossing, has been deported from Kosovo at the Bela Zemlja crossing, attorney Milos Nikolic confirmed to Kosovo Online.
Following his arrest this morning, Zlatanovic was taken to the immigration center in Pristina.
He is employed with the police department in Nis and lives with his wife and three children in Veliko Ropotovo, where he recently built a new home.
Zlatanovic is the fifth Serb to be detained in the past 48 hours, following the arrests by Kosovo Police of Mladen Milojevic from Leposavic, Aleksandar Mirkovic from Partes, Nikola Vujovic from Zubin Potok, and Milan Simic from Babin Most.
Mirkovic, Vujovic, and Milojevic, like Zlatanovic, are active members of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, while Simic is a retired police officer.
The authorities in Pristina have charged them with “endangering national security,” which served as the basis for their deportation from Kosovo.
Kosovo's acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, issued a decision yesterday revoking Nikola Vujovic’s Kosovo citizenship.
Reacting to these arrests, the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated yesterday that the authorities in Pristina, acting on the direct orders of Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, detained three officers of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs and one retired police officer at border crossings without any basis or justification, solely as a politically motivated act of reprisal against the Serbian people.
