Osmani: I hope international agreements will be ratified immediately after the Assembly Is constituted
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said it is very positive that, following the election results, Kosovo will very quickly have its institutions in place, as there are issues that have been left pending and Kosovo must “run” in order to catch up on many economic and integration-related matters, Klan Kosova reports.
“There are issues that have been left pending, and we must run—if I may put it symbolically—in order to catch up on many economic issues, integrations, and many other matters,” Osmani said.
She expects that as soon as the new composition of the Assembly of Kosovo is constituted, international agreements and the budget will be adopted in parliament, Klan Kosova reported.
“Kosovo has truly lost time due to the failure to first constitute the Assembly and then form a Government during the year we are leaving behind. The fact is that we will now very quickly have both the Government and the Assembly constituted, for the benefit of Kosovo. And I hope that on that very same day the Assembly will begin, or continue, with other important tasks for Kosovo, such as the ratification of international agreements, the budget, and other pending issues,” Osmani said.
