Pallaska: Kurti has never hidden that he is anti-American, his ideology is a threat to Kosovo

Lawyer Dastid Pallaska stated that Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti had never hidden his anti-American stance and had opposed every US policy in the Balkans, Gazeta Blic reports.

"Albin Kurti is fundamentally and ideologically anti-American, and he has said this himself, I’m just paraphrasing. He has been against almost every policy of the United States in the Balkans in general and specifically regarding Kosovo," Pallaska said.

He noted that Kurti had also been against the Rambouillet Conference, the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), and the Vienna negotiation process, which resulted in the Ahtisaari package and Kosovo's independence.

"That was against the Constitution of Kosovo, and he even refused to accept the state of Kosovo which was created by the United States. There is no significant American policy regarding Kosovo that he has supported. In fact, elements of his party have written pseudoscientific articles opposing NATO's bombing of Serbia, citing some violations of international public law. In other words, this man has never hidden his anti-American stance," Pallaska stated.

The lawyer also added that Kurti's ideology is a threat to Kosovo.

Pallaska emphasized that Kurti, with his entire propaganda machinery, was slowly trying to make the people of Kosovo anti-American, in contrast to what Ibrahim Rugova had done.
