PDK: We call for the dissolution of the Kosovo Assembly and extraordinary parliamentary elections

Abelard Tahiri, the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), stated that representatives of the party in the parliament will not vote for any law, including international agreements, and called for the dissolution of the Kosovo Assembly and the announcement of extraordinary elections, Gazeta Expres reports.

"This Assembly does not deserve to convene for even a single day anymore. PDK demands the dissolution of the parliament and the holding of extraordinary elections. How can the work continue when this government, as a result of its actions, has brought Kosovo under various sanctions from the US and EU? We cannot live in isolation. This parliament and this government are no longer credible, and we demand extraordinary elections," Tahiri said.

He made these remarks after today's session of the Assembly Presidency was not held due to a lack of quorum.

Tahiri also added, "Those who have brought Kosovo into crisis and under sanctions cannot extricate it from this situation."
