The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated that when an Albanian stones a bus full of Serbian pilgrims, he is charged with property damage, but when a Serb wears a T-shirt with the image of Prince Lazar, he goes straight to prison on charges of inciting national and religious hatred.
“When an Albanian stones a bus full of Serbian pilgrims in southern Mitrovica, he gets a charge for property damage. When a Serb wears a T-shirt with the image of Prince Lazar, he goes straight to prison on charges of spreading national and religious intolerance. This is what Kurti’s so-called ‘rule of law’ looks like,” Petkovic wrote on the social network X.
As a reminder, on Sunday a bus carrying Serbian pilgrims in South Mitrovica, who had gone to visit the Church of Saint Sava in that part of the city, was stoned.
On September 6, Kosovo police arrested a 28-year-old, L. M., in Leposavic because he was wearing a T-shirt with a map of Kosovo and the image of Tsar Lazar.
