Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said that he had just heard from the families of the wounded Milos and Stefan Stojanovic, and that he had offered them all the help of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Petkovic points out that he asked Pristina to allow him to visit the wounded boys.

"Can you imagine that man, that is, a non-man, a monster, who shoots Serbian children on Christmas just because they wear Serbian Christmas ornaments. And now let those, who attack the Serbian people every day and say that the Serbs in the north are criminals, say who actually criminals and murderers are. They are on the other side. Just because they were wearing Christmas clothes, and because they have Serbian names and surnames, Milos and Stefan were shot," said Petkovic.

Petkovic adds that the boys survived by sheer luck, but that someone wanted to give us a bloody Christmas.

"Not a single major religious holiday can pass without incidents, attacks and intimidation of the Serbian people in Kosovo. Of course, the whole world will know about all this. We have already informed the international community, I personally informed Lajcak, Brussels, to point out what happens every day in Kosovo," Petkovic said.

He asked why Serbs could not be left alone even on the biggest Christian holiday, Christmas.

"How far does it go, for someone out of pure peace to shoot at children walking by the side of the road, wearing Christmas ornaments and going to their house. Will the international community speak out again and say that both sides are to blame, and that both sides should be holding back and what not... It is not clear here who is the culprit, and here it is clear that Pristina's policy, which goes along with the expulsion of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, is the one that creates this situation in society where we have Albanian extremists who attack our people and our children," Petkovic added.

Petkovic points out that the Albanian attacker wanted to give the boys’ family a bloody Christmas.

"We are fighting for peace, while Pristina is trampling on peace in the worst possible way, by shooting Serbian children," Petkovic said.
