Radojevic meets Lopes: EULEX must demonstrate its mandate in the coming days

North Mitrovica Mayor Milan Radojevic met with the new Head of EULEX, Antero Lopes, congratulating him on taking over the leadership of the Mission and stressing that it must demonstrate its mandate in practice in the coming days.

“At a time when the rule of law is being seriously called into question and the rights of the Serbian people are being violated on a daily basis, the EULEX Mission bears enormous responsibility to justify its role and contribute to restoring citizens’ confidence in the rule of law,” Radojevic wrote on Instagram.

He added that, in the coming days, EULEX and KFOR must demonstrate that they are fulfilling their mandates and guarantee security for all citizens.
