Rakic: There was no attack on KFOR in Zubin Potok, the Albanian media is waging a hybrid war

The leader of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, said tonight that there was no attack on KFOR in Zubin Potok, as reported by the Pristina media.

"According to the information from KFOR and the Crisis Staff, I would deny the allegations of the Albanian media that an attack on KFOR took place in Zubin Potok. This information is just one more in a series that Pristina, as part of the hybrid war, is using to further heat up the situation and draw KFOR into their intentions," Rakic told for TV Pink.

He repeated that there was no attack on KFOR and that the Serbs in the north of Kosovo respect KFOR.

Rakic also added that the current situation was calm, that the people at the barricades were determined to stay there.

Asked whether he expected from Pristina that the demands of the Serbs would be met, he said that they did not expect anything from the behavior of the Kosovo Albanians, and that pressure from the international community on Pristina was needed.

"These are not demands, but requests to release our people whom they arrested, to withdraw special police units with armored vehicles and long guns from the north, as well as to withdraw the lists for killing Serbs," explained Rakic.

He pointed out that the Serbs had no choice but to draw the attention of the public.

"Every Serb they arrested was sentenced without evidence or to maximum prison terms," Rakic pointed out.
